Drinkable Perfume

Australian Riesling or a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc? I fancy the latter tonight. I have to admit it is a bit of a disappointment. The last time I went on a wine shopping spree at the John Lewis Foodhall in Oxford Circus I bought a really good Marlborough from the “Villa Maria Estate”. This one though goes by “The Ned – Waihopai River” and is not as good.

Yes, a glass of wine now and it makes it that much easier to keep going. It reminds me, somehow, of the pleasure one can get from perfume. For me, wine is like perfume you can drink. It also relaxes me and allows me to think more freely.

And from the green New Zealand vineyards I take myself all the way to the Arabian desert within an instant. With the elegance and refinement only Tom Ford could lure me with. Sahara Noir is my new obsession. This dark incense golden gem makes me feel special. I feel it would make a great signature scent but I also feel it is too precious for everyday use. One spray today and the next one can wait a few days.
